Dinner guests

A great blog to follow!

My mom loved to cook. And entertain company. She should have been a caterer or a party planner.

We had company over all of the time. This was the 1970s. My dad was a manager at a chemical company. He would invite his workers over for a dinner party. Mom would plan and cook for days. My sisters and I would help cook and set the table. It was always a big deal.

I didn’t inherit my mom’s love for cooking. But I certainly enjoy company. Both of my parents enjoyed having friends and family over. I’d have parties every weekend if the hubby weren’t such a curmudgeon about it. But I digress.

Happy 60th Anniversary Disneyland!

Down the Rabbit Hole to Disney

Disneyland or Disney World?  California or Florida?  Which is your favorite?  Either way, we are happy to say Happy Birthday Disneyland, the original!

We visited there last Spring Break and albeit smaller than of course the Orlando parks, it is quaint and cozy.  It is the original park, so you feel more part of the history.  If you are a Disney Fanatic, you must visit all the Disney Parks!  Ok, at least the ones in the USA!

Of course we may be a little partial to Disneyland because there is more of an Alice in Wonderland presence with the attraction there and the Mad Hatter makes regular appearances.  But living on the east coast, we frequent Disney World more often.  At least we’ve been to both parks, hopefully we will go back west soon!

Have a magical Day!

Disney Character Dining at 1900 Park Fare – Meeting Anastasia

Down the Rabbit Hole to Disney

1900 Park Fare restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is a great place for character dining.  This time we went for dinner and the theme was meeting Cinderella and her family.  Of course the funny stepsisters were there and here we are meeting Anastasia.  When you go to Disney World, definitely try and meeting the stepsisters here or they are also with Lady Tremaine in the Magic Kingdom.

Enjoy the video!

Posting photos from other meet and greets with them as well!

Tell us what you think!

Have a magical day!
